We're investing in solar, and I wanted to get our roof inspected, before we install solar panels. I thought our roof only had 3 years remaining, as told per Brad's Roofing. I was shocked to find out our roof is fine. The guy from Storm Shield Roofing said we have a great roof, and can expect to get another 15 years out of it. What an honest guy! There are very few construction companies out there that operate like truly professional businesses, Storm Shield Roofing is one of the few bright spots in this industry. My experience with Storm Shield Roofing started a few years ago. They came out to assess a drainage issue I was having with my tile roof. After answering all my homeowner questions, they gave a thoughtful assessment of my situation. In brief, they stated that they could redo the section of my roof, but the core issues of the tile roof would remain. I was very impressed that a business was willing to fairly assess a situation even if that meant they were most likely not going to get a new job from it.
Fast forward to 2020, the issues with my roof continued to cause problems and it was clear I needed to switch from a tile roof to an asphalt roof. The first company that came to mind was Storm Shield Roofing. After getting several bids from multiple roofing companies; Storm Shield was not the cheapest, but they weren't the most expensive either.
Throughout the entire job the owners were on site multiple times to make sure everything was running smoothly. The crew was very personable and professional. The job site was kept clean every single day. And any issue that did arise was promptly and professionally addressed.
The only downside of Storm Shield Roofing is that they are just in the roofing business. I would be willing to hire this business for all my home remodel projects, because of the fair, honest, and professional work that Storm Shield Roofing gives to its customers.

We have a difficult roof. Flat brick tile, multiple gables, and a high pitch. John Shirley and his crew correctly assessed and repaired it and addressed flow issues which had caused some leaks. Storm Shield's work was fast, efficient, and the finished job looks beautiful!
I would recommend storm shield to any business or home owner whose roof needs professional attention.

I have had trouble with my tile roof from day 1 with leaking inside the house and tile slippage, so I've had a number of roofing contractors out for repairs. Hands down, this has been the best company. It is evident that they value customer satisfaction and delivering quality service. I have had a hard time in the past with contractors not returning a call for estimates or scheduling a time to meet and then never showing up. So it was a wonderful change to work with a contracting business that communicates so well and right away, and follows through. I felt Chris went over and above with the service that was provided. He not only looked at the area of the roof causing the current problem with leaking, but examined the entire roof for areas that might be or become problematic, and made recommendations. It is very important to me, with all the trouble I've had with leaking, to take preventive measures, so I greatly appreciate his evaluation. He was also very thorough and clear in explaining problem areas of the roof and going over my options. I feel reassured that I know who I can go to with any further needs I might have regarding roofing repairs and upgrades. I can't express enough how much I appreciate and am impressed with the level of communication and quality of service that I received.
